Thanks to our friends at Banner Flower House and the Kokomo Tribune, used newspaper bins are available to be refurbished, decorated and converted into a new personal little library in the upcoming 4 week workshop. The $100 class fee includes the metal newspaper bin, instruction on small tools and techniques and a 2 month SHAK membership to complete the project for display at your home or office. SHAK plans to share "How-to" books in a robot-shaped library! Participants should wear clothes that can get dirty as well as closed-toe shoes.  Some of the steps in this workshop include, sanding, shelf installation, water-proofing and painting with stencils.

Each attendee must attend at least one of the scheduled workshop sessions to complete the new member process and learn where the tools are and how to operate them. However, each participant may work on their library at their convenience as a member of SHAK over that two month period.  If you have any questions, please contact Susan Alexander at 765-210-6507.
