SHAK is partnering with our neighbors across the street to build and grow an open community garden. This will be for all SHAK members and anyone in the local community who wants to participate.
This session we will build some palette garden containers and start some early spring seeds- spinach, early lettuce and radishes as a test.
We will use soil from the Seed Start Workshop, or mix more if needed.
We will also use this time to plan other plantings ( we plan on doing square foot as well as tilled), and a plan for community outreach to engage with our neighbors.
Anyone interested should meet at SHAK at 2pm. If you come a little late, we might be across the street, look for us in both places.
